In this session Nikki Giovanni shares her views on the Black Lives Matter movement, ways that young people can gain a belief in their capacity to positively impact the world, how she uses writing to invite students to share their stories and see the value of their voices. She also shares how she remains present to her life and the importance of family in her own life and in the ways that young people learn to take action in their communities.
