Plant Medicine Summit
Jump Start Your Metabolism with Ayurvedic Detoxification
Ayurvedic herbal detoxification employing kichari diet and triphala formula. Kichari integrates rice mung beans and The three fruits comprising the ancient ayurvedic formula given to practically every patient regardless of the disease. Triphala is comprised of three botanicals, one for each of the ayurvedic doshas, Amla (beleric myrobalan), haridra (chebulic myrabalan) and bibhitaki (beleric myrobalan).
In This Session:
- Good digestion and elimination is the key to health. As with all bio-physiological processes it must be done in a balanced way so that the process of detoxification doesn't deplete our reserves, causing us to overeat after fasting.
- Kichari is an ancient dish consisting of White rice and yellow mung beans, ghee and three important spices, turmeric, cumin and coriender. Fasting for a week or longer on kichari provides all the nutrients needed to sustain life while detoxifying.
- Suplementing with Triphala herbal formula, consisting of three herbs, is a foundation formula that balances vital life processes, involving digestion, body fluids, and the nervous system.
