Jess Starwood
Jess Starwood, clinical herbalist and forager of wild medicine, Jess is the owner of SunRaven Apothecary in Thousand Oaks, California where she can be found brewing up herbal elixirs, crafting gourmet wild foods, and teaching classes and workshops on medicinal, edible plants and mushrooms. She has worked with high end restaurants as a wild food and plant-based consultant, but also hosts gourmet wild food tastings and dinners. She teaches the community about edible and medicinal foods that can be found in their backyards and nearby community. With her lifelong passion for nature and gourmet food, Jess has studied holistic nutrition, natural health and herbal medicine for over 15 years and has a Masters of Science degree in Herbal Medicine from the American College of Healthcare Sciences in Portland, Oregon.
