In my new book Millenneagram, I translate the enneagram into terminology tooled for my peers, many of whom are young, queer, activists and otherwise marginalized folks that the enneagram has not reached but stand to benefit from a current understanding of it - a translation, if you will. With reverence for its originators but writing in the irreverent tone of the millennial generation, I introduce terminology like "survival stories", "brain ruts", etc to make the enneagram vibrant & accessible.
