After graduating from UC Davis School of Veterinary medicine with the intention to practice equine medicine, Life detoured me into veterinary dermatology. After passing the Dermatology Board exam I became disillusioned with conventional medicine. Life turned me in yet another direction: homeopathic medicine. The transition to holistic medicine led to a shattering of my basic beliefs about medicine, life and who we are. My perspective on the nature of reality changed; my mind was opened and continues to open to new possibilities. As my practice continued to evolved I began to recognize the impact of environmental toxins and radiation on our health. By 2010 I had introduced applied kinesiology to my practice in order to diagnose and treat environmental disease using nutritional therapy along with homeopathy. My practice is 100% holistic and I treat all kinds of disease in dogs, cats and horses.
I met Gangaji and Eli Jaxon Bear in 1998 and was introduced to the Enneagram as a path to liberation. I attended several Ennegram retreats and was part of an Enneagram study group up until 2006. It wasn't long before I began to recognize Enneatypes in my patients (and clients) and to use that knowledge in my practice. My exploration of the Enneagram continues as I am exposed to the work of other Enneagram teachers via the Shift Network.
