Hello, everyone. I'm Dr. Kimberly Rachelle Mascaro, and I'll be hosting the 2020 Dreamwork Summit. It's been said that dreams are the language of the soul.

Kimberly R. Mascaro, PhD, wears many hats, in addition to her role as a psychologist. Dr. Mascaro has worked in the fields of mental/behavioral health and higher education for over 20 years. She holds a license to practice psychotherapy in California, and certifications in guided meditation and hypnotherapy. She is the author of Extraordinary Dreams: Visions, Announcements and Premonitions Across Time and Place.

Her primary focus is on wellness and women’s issues — in particular, navigating life’s big transitions, as well as treating trauma, anxiety, and grief/loss. Dr. Mascaro is known for her warm, soulful approach and holistic, eclectic therapeutic style. She integrates many areas of her training and experience, including traditional talk therapies with art, dreamwork, hypnotherapy, yoga nidra, and somatic approaches. 

She earned a PhD in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and a MS in counseling psychology from Dominican University. She's also a longtime artist and craftswoman, with a passion for painting her dreams and crafting mixed media shrines, having earned a BA in Fine Art. 

Dr. Mascaro gives presentations and leads workshops nationally and internationally. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Sierra Foothills chapter of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), and the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) as the Ethic Committee Co-chair. She was a faculty associate at Arizona State University for 11 years, instructing a variety of psychology courses.
