Discover how to connect with the ancestors to cultivate a deeper sense of belonging... and become a wise and loving elder yourself.

Experience a healing ritual to remember ‘the forgotten ones’ in your lineage — essential for your resilience, wellbeing, and creating a better future for yourself and others.

If you’re connected to your ancestors, you know a secret...

The secret to discovering and healing wounded parts of yourself, and to helping create a better future for those who will follow you.

Yet, there’s also something many Indigenous people believe: Our ancestors are our connection to the Spirit world and to our higher Self.

Their loving guidance, often passed down through story and song, provide us with a sustenance we can draw from all our lives... a sense of belonging — of our place in the world, and of how to become wise and loving elders ourselves, respected and beloved in our communities.

The practice of honoring our ancestors is essential for our resilience, wellbeing, and ability to navigate life — and ensure a better future for ourselves and our lineage.

That can be especially important at this time, given that for many of us, our elders live far away, or have already transitioned.

In Reweaving Your Ancestral Story, Native American spiritual activist, storyteller, teacher, and singer Gemma Benton will guide you through the places of disconnection and pain in our ancestral stories that many of us feel, including the places of shame, trauma, or embarrassment, which when disowned, actually block us from living fully in our power…

Our true power is not something we seek outside ourselves, it is something we find within — as an embracing of Spirit, of the souls of the past and present, and of our own soul, longing to be known.

Gemma shows us how to connect more fully with our ancestors by exploring the “Four Lands of the Forgotten,” each representing parts of ourselves or family history where we have lost touch with and need to remember and integrate to achieve greater wholeness.

During this complimentary hour with Gemma, you’ll discover how enjoyable and easy it is to experience ancestral wisdom through story and song.

You’ll learn how practicing rituals that have been passed down through the ages can help transform you, igniting an innate whole-body felt recognition that can open you to the remembering you must do to receive the wisdom of your ancestors.

During this hour-long mini-workshop, you’ll:

  • Understand why connecting with your ancestors is essential for opening the portal to the Spirit world and your own higher Self
  • Discover how you can cultivate a capacity to witness ancestral stories as a way to increase resilience and navigate life challenges
  • Learn how you can start creating a new mythology for your family which allows you to heal painful stories and empowers you to create a world full of unlimited possibilities
  • Receive key insights to bring forth the power and wisdom in the stories of your ancestors and access them in your daily life
  • Participate in a healing ritual to connect with the “Land of the Forgottens” — re-membering and connecting with their power and drawing from their wisdom

Gemma has taught the power of reweaving our ancestral story for close to 30 years, helping people heal debilitating family issues, from abuse to addiction, by addressing the “spirits in the shadows” with an open heart.

Each ancestor can be a resource for how we live our current life. Each ancestor can be a source of vital wisdom. Each ancestor connects us in different ways with life and the Earth.

Knowing, and reweaving, our ancestral story is at the heart of a well-lived life because we are witnessing the truth of our lineage, the difficulties that have been surmounted, and the wisdom that has been earned.

Instead of being a solo seeker adrift in life and seeking a home, we carry our home within us — the flesh and bone and memories of thousands of lives, all culminating with us. If we access this vast field of experience, we become more empowered, wiser, and authentic. We better understand who we are and where we are headed.
