I’m Lisa Bonnice and I’m honored to once again host The Shift Network’s Ancestral Healing Summit — for the fourth year — where we gather in conversation about how events that shaped the lives of our ancestors are still reverberating today and driving our behavior... most of the time without our awareness.

Every summit, although focusing on the same subject overall, has its own personality. They take on a life of their own once we begin the production process, and I never know what to expect each year. And this year takes on a new depth as we go beyond the ins and outs of how ancestral healing works and into conversations about why it’s so very important that this work be done now, while humankind is going through such a strange and fascinating transformation.

After all, it’s not just ancestors in our personal lineages that are affecting us. It’s everyone’s ancestors, it’s countless grandmas and grandpas from generations past from the beginning of life on earth that have all led us to where we are today, in the situation we’re in. And it’s become clearly apparent that one very powerful way to bring healing to our global situation is to make peace with our present, by healing the past.

I’m deeply moved by this year’s summit because, as in prior years, we’re including experts in the fields of science, psychology and spirituality but this year we’re adding conversations about the times we live in now and what we, as individuals, can do to help make a difference, one drop in the bucket at a time, until we reach a tipping point.

This year we dive deeper into the meaning of this work and how our efforts really do make a difference on the world stage. We learn about communicating with our ancestors and asking for their help.

With Thomas Hübl, we discuss Transforming Ancestral Trauma From The Past, To Generational Healing For The Present And The Future. Thomas offers advice on turning the negative effects of trauma into wisdom and post-traumatic healing, what causes "family divides" and what we can do to heal them, and how doing our own inner work can prevent passing of ancestral trauma to future generations.

Sandra Ingerman offers a beautiful guided journey taking us back in time to communicate with our ancient ancestors who survived catastrophic events, to ask for their advice and assistance. Other perspectives in shamanism and ancestral healing will be shared by Christina Pratt and Langston Kahn.

Jill Purce, a pioneer in ancestral healing work and Family Constellations, advises us on how to see our families in overview — through space and time — to understand the viewpoints of all family members and bring healing to the ancestral field... while Judy Wilkins-Smith and Liza Miron also share their expertise in Family Constellations.

Renowned past-life regressionists Shelley Kaehr and Linda Backman share information they’ve gathered over decades of regression work on how to release the trauma of ancestral threads from past lives leading to current life, and how a genealogical regression, similar to a past-life regression, can help unravel family mysteries.

Experts in divination, like Carrie Paris, Nancy Hendricksonb, and Desiree DeMars offer demonstrations in how to work with moon cycles, the Tarot, and Reading the Bones. And speaking of divination with the moon, astrologists Fern Vuchinich and Christina Caudill share with us how astrology can help us get to know our ancestors and how their stories affect our present and our future.

Doctors Beth McDougall and Lotte Valentine, and intuitive healer Masami Covey will talk about the intersection between our physical health and ancestral influences.

So many more conversations are available, I cannot list them all. So if this topic interests you — if you hear your ancestors calling — go ahead and register to listen to this free summit, so you can share in these divine conversations with Paul Levy, Jane Burns, Natalia O’Sullivan, and many others.

I’ll see you there.

She has hosted numerous summits for The Shift Network, including the Ancestral Healing Summit, Beyond the Veil Summit, and Intuitive Medicine Summit. Lisa also co-created the “Generations Oracle” kit with Carrie Paris.

Her first book, Shape Shifting: Reclaiming Your Perfect Body, includes a foreword by Neale Donald Walsch, with whom she worked within the organization he founded, Humanity's Team, as regional director for the entire southern portion of the United States. Her true crime novel, Fear of Our Father, was twice featured on the Investigation Discovery Network. Her newest novel, a metaphysical comedy called The Poppet Master, includes a foreword by Marc Allen, publisher at New World Library (and the man who discovered Eckhart Tolle).

Lisa hosted her own podcast, Shape Shifting, on BlogTalkRadio, featuring such guests as Lynne McTaggart, Edgar Mitchell, and Neale Donald Walsch. She has been a program host with The Shift Network for over five years, where she has interviewed luminaries such as Gregg Braden, Anita Moorjani, and Thomas Hübl. She also hosted an online chat show, Mind Yourself, where she interviewed experts in human transformation.

Her current writing project, based on actual events found in her family tree, spurred Lisa into her almost obsessive interest in ancestral healing. While doing genealogy research, she discovered an ancient witch trial and generational curse, which explained an awful lot about unusual patterns and illnesses in her life and those of her family. This writing project, tentatively titled The Maxwell Curse, tells how ancestral legacies can ripple across time for centuries, leaving havoc in their wake. Lisa feels that it's her life's work to heal that curse by working with her ancestors, and sharing with others how they too can break the ties that bind them to their own families' past histories.
