I’ve been invited to speak in a Shift Network Summit. What’s this all about?
What is a Shift Network Summit?
Shift Network Summits are online conferences or events that gather wise and renowned voices who share their wisdom about the current trends in a particular topic area. Summits produced by The Shift Network all have the common theme of inspiring people to take action to transform their lives, and the planet.
Who is The Shift Network?
We’re a for-profit company (with a philanthropic bent) that supports people to make evolutionary shifts in consciousness. Our hope is these shifts will lead to a more enlightened society, built on principles of peace, sustainability, health, and prosperity. We have over 700,000 people in our extended community. Sometimes we partner with leaders specializing in a particular area who invite speakers and host interviews. If you were invited to speak on a summit by someone who doesn’t work for The Shift Network, this is why.
Tell me a little bit about the kinds of Summits The Shift Network has hosted, and the guests you’ve had on those summits.
Since we started in 2010, we’ve produced over 100 Summits on topics ranging from the enneagram and shamanism, to energy medicine and Qigong. From dreamwork and yoga, to plant medicine and ancestral healing — and so many more!
We partner with experts, speakers and transformational agents in every field we work in. You’ll surely recognize some of our speakers/allies... people like Jane Goodall, Arianna Huffington, Deepak Chopra, Lisa Nichols, Marianne Williamson, Jim Kwik, Holly Tse, Ram Dass, Rev. We also pride ourselves on keeping our finger on the pulse of the emerging stories, and so always include up-and-coming speakers, as well as grassroots change agents.
Does it cost anything for participants to attend a Summit ?
The Shift Network offers FREE attendance during the live Summit dates. We also offer an option for people to purchase an upgrade package that allows them to listen to the Summit recordings beyond the free replay period, in which they’d also get transcripts, relevant bonuses, and other important teachings.
So why should I participate?
In addition to having a fantastic platform to air your message far and wide to tens of thousands of people, other benefits for you include:
Visibility:
Your photo and bio will be featured on the registration page, the program page and the permanent Summit session library. You will also be featured in many of the promotional emails we send to our full email list, as well as the event emails we send to all of the participants.
Credibility:
You will be associated with some of the most well-known and respected leaders in your arena. This will be an opportunity to share your message, insights, stories, and lessons with a broad audience.
Affiliate Revenue:
We will track everyone who comes from your promotional efforts and when they purchase a Summit upgrade package you will earn up to 50% of the revenue. You’ll also earn a commission on programs or products they purchase from The Shift Network within a period of time after the Summit concludes. This has the potential to be very generative for you.
Your Own Offer:
On most of our Summits, we give speakers the opportunity to make a special offer to our listeners for a 50/50 revenue share with Shift Network. We review and approve these offers to make sure they’re an appropriate match for the event. If this applies to your Summit and you’re interested, we can provide you with more details.
If I agree to speak in a Summit, what do I do next ?
In order for a collaborative event like this to work, all the speakers actively promote it to their communities. So besides, completing a speaker agreement and scheduling and delivering your interview, you’re agreeing to send at least one solo email to your mailing list before the summit starts. That’s it!
What about diversity?
As a company, we've identified three key areas where we plan to invest our energy and resources: World Peace, Gender Equality, and Sacred Democracy. It’s very clear to us that moving forward in these areas will require deep and thoughtful work on issues of diversity, inclusion, and cultural competence, among others. As a company, we have begun to take steps towards positive change. This includes showcasing a significantly broader spectrum of talented speakers. Within our Summits specifically, we make a very strong effort to broaden the diversity of speakers and welcome feedback from both our hosts and speakers in this area.
