Kezia: Hello, my name is Kezia Vida, and this is my father.

Rodger: Yes, I'm Rodger Kamenetz.

Kezia: And we're so excited to invite you to join us at The Dreamwork Summit that's going to be hosted by The Shift Network very soon.

Rodger: Right. We've been working really hard on it. We're very excited about some of the people we'll be talking to, and we want to share them with you.

Kezia: We really have shown, and through this, understood that dreams can help us change long-held habits, get through challenging life transitions like divorce or if someone that you love passes, or even just spark creativity and imagination in you that you didn't know you had.

Rodger: You'll be hearing from some master dream teachers, really well known, including Robert Moss, Toko-pa Turner, Luisah Teish, Jean Shinoda Bolen, and many more.

Kezia: Yeah, including Sharon Blackie. And what was really cool about being with all of these teachers is that they gave us so many hands-on tools that you can use right away to help you transform your relationship with your dreams.

Rodger: For example, we'll be talking with a person who has been working with dreams in hospice, and did you know that dreaming of a loved one who has passed, or being in your dreams during that end of your lifetime, can be very important to you and to your family?

Kezia: Yes, and we've also even spoken with people doing very creative things with their dream work, like a beekeeper who started using her relationship with bees inside of her dreamwork practice, and she also gives some amazing hands-on tools. So there's a lot of exciting stuff there, and we just really want you to join in.

Rodger: Right. In addition, we'll be talking to a Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist and well-known poets. It's going to be a very exciting, open-ended, and deep experience for everyone.

Kezia: Yeah. And we just really hope that it can spark you to develop a relationship with your dreams that can really change your life. So register today.

Rodger: Yes. Do register and join us.

Rodger Kamenetz is the author of The History of Last Night's Dream (Harper One, 2007) which Oprah Winfrey "loved," adding, "What’s so exciting about this book is that it talks about how there’s a whole other life that we are living when we sleep, and that our dreams are there as offerings and gifts to us if we only recognize what the dreams are there to teach us, what they’re there to tell us about our waking lives." He is the founder of Natural Dreamwork, an approach that treats every dream as having the potential of a sacred encounter that can heal. Natural Dreamwork builds on the dreamer's actual experience of space, time, and feeling in the dream. He has been working with dreamers one on one since 2003.

Rodger is well-known as the author of the international best-seller, The Jew in the Lotus, an account of a delegation of rabbis who pilgrimage to meet with the Dalai Lama in Buddhist India. He won the National Jewish Book Award for Stalking Elijah: Adventures With Today's Jewish Mystical Masters. Burnt Books, his dual biography of Franz Kafka and Rabbi Nachman of Bratzlav, was featured in Schocken's Jewish Encounters Series. He is an awarding-winning poet and a literary essayist whose work is widely anthologized. A Professor Emeritus at Louisiana State University, where he held the Sternberg Honors Chair, he lives and works in his beloved New Orleans where he sees clients seeking spiritual growth through dreams. He currently teaches spiritual writing in the Kenyon Review Summer Workshops, and is on faculty at the C.G. Jung Center in Evanston, Illinois.

Kezia Vida has been working with and studying dreams under the Natural Dreamwork tradition for close to a decade. She works with dreams and dreamers to cultivate and validate their internal, felt experience in order to embody their highest potential in waking life. After receiving a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Yale University, she dove into intense dream study, working with a wide variety of teachers to develop a unique perspective on dreams. Her work with dreams led her to deeper studies of shamanic and Indigenous perspectives on reality, with teachers like Nina Palmieri and Jose and Lena Stevens of the Power Path. She is focused on how nurturing our dream lives can lead us to our life's purpose and connect us with each other and the larger community of living things.

Kezia's services are offered with the intention that, as people reconnect to their dreams, we will collectively move closer to harmony with the earth that we depend upon to sustain our lives. In her work, she understands the challenges faced by new dreamers and is constantly offering fresh approaches to help individuals deepen and strengthen their relationship with their dreams. In 2018, she published The Dreaming I, a unique interactive dream journal designed to jump-start a transformative dream practice. She is currently developing a 111-acre ecological retreat center outside of her home in New Orleans that will offer in-depth dream retreats that will nurture an individual's relationship to the natural world.
