Shift Network Global Summit 2017

I’m very excited about this year’s Shamanism Global Summit and I think you will be too. We’ve listened to your requests from the past few years and, in spite of language barriers, have put together a very diverse and august gathering of Shamanic teachers from around the world. The theme for this year is “Personal and Planetary Healing.”

While new discoveries in the scientific community have been proving what shamans and indigenous cultures have been saying for millennium, these findings have not found their way into mainstream culture and education. We invite you the readers, the cultural creatives of our era, to find your own truth in these offerings and be a conduit for the new story of our time. This is a story of health and healing, of interconnection and communion, of adopting the web of life as our guide and reference point for decision making.

Here are what a few of the 24 luminaries are addressing in the interviews:

Malidoma Somé, an initiated elder in his village of Dano in Burkina Faso, West Africa, shares the importance of honoring and remembering our ancestors and calling on our ancestors in prayer.

Puma, an Andean Shaman, reminds us that “Time and space are always in ceremony for us! We are always in ceremony. Every moment is a sacred moment — a sacred space. When we recognize this, magic happens.”

HeatherAsh Amara shows us how to tap into our inner fire by opening our heart space and expanding our perceptions.

South African Sangoma (shaman) John Lockley brings us The Way of the Leopard — calling on the ancestors to help us find our path.

Mandaza, a shaman from Zimbabwe, West Africa, talks about healing and peace making and brings this message from Creator: “The longest journey we will ever walk is traveling from the head to the heart! All of the problems we are facing originate in our head. Peace making starts in the individual heart.”

Jose and Lena Stephens share with us how to access power, wisdom and transformation by embarking on a shamanic pilgrimage.

South African shaman Nonty Charity talks about umbuntu, translated as “I am because of others.” She says, “We are all born with a gift, a vibration that is needed in our communities. Stop and be in the silence to recognize that we are all interdependent. Only then can we realize that we belong together. The planet and the ancestors have never stopped talking to us, we have just stopped listening.”

 
These are just a few of the topics that we’ll be covering in this year’s Shamanism Global Summit. I do hope that you will join us. Last year we had 32,000 people participate in this amazing gathering. We would like to blow that out of the water and have at least 50,000! We invite you to share this message with your friends.
