We Are All One. Let’s Live That Way!

Join us in Grassroots Celebrations all over the world
and in the Annual Free Virtual Summit open to all.

This is the time of the year that some of us in Humanity’s Team have come to think of as Global Oneness Day Season! Although spending energy on creating another more impactful, joyful and catalysing Global Oneness Day is an all-year-round endeavour, this is the time of the year when what we have intended and created begins to take flight. Global Oneness Day comes alive now and we are beginning to feel into the day!

Although not official – the ‘theme’ for Global Oneness Day this year is the invitation to everyone to ‘Own’ Global Oneness Day. What started through a dream and as part of the global Oneness Declaration in 2007/2008 by a small number of people, the delivery of 50,000 Oneness Declaration signatures to the United Nations in October 2010 and our first Global Oneness Day Celebrations on October 24, 2010, the day has grown into something quite phenomenal. We are celebrating the 6th Global Oneness Day this year with thousands and thousands of people participating.

As humanity we are living during very special and unique times in which we are actually able to witness the awesome truth of our underlying Spiritual and Scientific Oneness. But maybe because our Oneness is so basic, many do not realise the real significance. Because We Are All One, the whole world should be rejoicing and celebrating and it is for this reason that we are inviting the billions of people of the world to become really Conscious of what this means, and of how it feels and works… to OWN it and to DECLARE it.

Global Oneness Day brings together dozens of passionate speakers whose commitment and insight into Oneness have inspired millions. This happens in a wonderful way through the annual Oneness Summit that continues to attract the best and most inspiring people in the world. Among these to name a few only are: Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Michael Beckwith, Gary Zukav, Marianne Williamson, Ken Wilber, Neale Donald Walsch, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Stephen Dinan, Nassim Haramein, Doreen Virtue, Thomas Huebl, Barbara Fields, etc.

But Global Oneness Day is about more than just listening to inspiring conversations and the sharing of ideas and insights. It’s an opportunity to join with others to contribute one's unique perspective and gifts to the noble work of elevating, sharing, and implementing Oneness on this day and on a daily basis in life and work. Global Oneness Day offers an opportunity for thousands of us who care deeply about our world to be together in solidarity and to experience and celebrate a shared consciousness as One.

• Since the Oneness Declaration is central to Global Oneness Day, we are inviting people to give the Oneness Declaration this space… to make it part of the activities that are held on this day. And very importantly, we are asking people to continue sharing the Oneness Declaration with ever more vigour and Love so that we are the catalysts for bringing the Oneness Declaration to all the people of the world. Once we reach our goal of 100,000 signatures we will present these to the United Nations together with our invitation for them to officially adopt and support Global Oneness Day. • There are a great number of suggestions for what people can do and how they may get involved. As such, we are inviting people to create any event of their choice from as little as lighting a candle, to small family and friends gatherings to bigger community events with all of this including drumming circles (Global Rhythm Circle for Oneness), free hugs events, children’s fairs, food drives, donate items to homeless shelters and any other thoughtful act that may touch your heart. On this day, we see We Are All One on the billboards, buses, trains and planes… in the newspapers and on television… all over the internet. It is in the heart, mind, lips and actions of everyone.

“Doer-dreamer” Anna-Mari Pieterse has been a full time volunteer; serving in Humanity’s Team since 2005, as the Country Coordinator for South Africa and on the World Wide level as the Coordinator for the Oneness Declaration and part of the Global Oneness Day initiative, as well as co-leading the Oneness in Twelve Spheres of Life initiative.

Anna-Mari is a ‘student’, researcher of, as well as an advocate for uBuntu. She is passionately involved on a daily basis with taking uBuntu to the global stage as Africa’s ancient gift of Oneness to the world.

Anna-Mari holds a degree in Counselling Psychology (majoring in Religious Studies) that she obtained at the University of South Africa (UNISA).
