Lisa Barnett answers the question:

What is the nicest thing a non-family member has ever done for you?

Well, I would love to share just one of the most wonderful experiences I've actually had with someone who was a well-known author and a complete stranger to me. I was at an event one day and Jack Canfield was there, and I was very excited because I've always thought that Jack Canfield's books, the Chicken Soup for the Soul books, were just really lovely blessings to humanity. And being very excited, I wanted to meet him, so I asked a friend of mine who actually had known him if she could introduce me, and she said, "Yes, of course."

And so we walked up to Jack and she introduced me, and Jack was so very lovely and kind and he said, "So, what do you do?"

And I got a little dumbstruck, and I stumbled around a little bit thinking, Can I say I work in the Akashic Records? That seemed a little wild for me to say, but I did. I said, "Well, I help people to find their soul path and purpose through the Akashic Records."

And Jack said, "I love the Akashic Records." And we chatted. He told me a beautiful story about how the Akashic Records had changed his life, and it was so lovely. And so he was very patient, we took a bunch of photos, which was really fun, and so I sent him the photos later and he was so gracious and thanked me for doing that.

And about a year later, after I had finished my book, my second book, I sent Jack an email and I said, "You know, Jack, I would love, love, love it if you would do the foreword for my book."

And he again is the nicest, kindest, most gracious gentlemen, and he said, "You know, I love the work you're sharing with the world. I would love to do the foreword for your book."

And I thought, "Wow, what a blessing." I have been so blessed and gifted with Jack Canfield writing the foreword for my book, and I really think that that was one of the nicest things that a stranger has ever done for me.
