Imagine knowing how to find your way back to harmony, even when life pulls you far from it…
An old hurt that rises when you least expect it. A choice you regret, or words you wish you could take back. Or the feeling that, as life changes, you're longing for a deeper sense of peace, purpose, and belonging.
Hawaiian wisdom offers a beautiful way of understanding and restoring that harmony. It's called living pono — being in balance and right relationship with yourself, others, and all that sustains you.
At its heart is Hoʻoponopono — a traditional Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and making things right, which helps restore harmony through reflection, prayer, forgiveness, cleansing, and release.
Respected Hawaiian cultural wisdom keeper Kumu Ramsay Taum, a practitioner of Indigenous Hawaiian healing arts, has devoted his life to sharing this wisdom through intercultural exchanges, global peace initiatives, and work supporting planetary wellbeing.
In his new 7-week live video course, Kumu Ramsay will guide you in the Hawaiian art of living pono, helping you experience Hoʻoponopono and bring Aloha, the Hawaiian spirit of love, care, and reciprocity, into your relationships and everyday life.
You may already know Hoʻoponopono through the familiar four phrases: “I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.” But there's much more to this ancient Hawaiian practice than its well-known mantra.
In this course, you'll explore the rich philosophy, cultural wisdom, and traditional practices that have made Hoʻoponopono a powerful way to restore balance and harmony across generations.
Kumu Ramsay will guide you through the essential steps of traditional Hoʻoponopono — from preparation and prayer to acknowledgment, cleansing, release, and closure.
You'll apply these teachings to memories and circumstances in your own life, exploring how to make peace with past choices, soften old hurts, and extend forgiveness for yourself and others. You'll also learn a practice you can return to whenever you need to restore harmony within yourself or your relationships.
One of the most revealing discoveries you'll make is how much of what you experience is shaped by what you remember.
Through reflection and exercises in perspective, you'll explore how memories and assumptions influence your reactions, and begin recognizing when an old experience is shaping how you understand something happening today.
You'll also meet the Three Selves: ʻAumakua (the higher self), ʻUhane (the conscious mind), and ʻUnihipili (the subconscious mind), which together form your inner family.
Through guided practice, you'll learn to communicate compassionately with ʻUnihipili, exploring a new way to care for the memories and feelings it holds.
And through a personal relationship-mapping practice, you'll explore the Hawaiian understanding of belonging, reflecting on your connections with family, ancestors, community, and ʻāina (the land that sustains us), and how gratitude and reciprocity can deepen those bonds.
As the course unfolds, you'll discover how to bring these teachings into ordinary moments — from the way you respond to someone who upsets you to the care you offer yourself and the people around you.
Aloha can become something that others feel in your presence, expressed through the kindness, attention, and respect you bring to everyday life.
By the end of the journey, you'll have a personal experience of Hoʻoponopono and practices you can continue making your own, along with a deeper sense of what it means to live pono, restore harmony, and feel at home in the world you belong to.

In this 7-week transformational course, Kumu Ramsay will guide you through the Hawaiian wisdom of pono and experience the restorative practice of Hoʻoponopono — to make peace with old hurts, nurture more loving relationships, and feel more deeply connected to yourself and the world around you.
You’ll connect with Kumu Ramsay and experience his teachings through livestreaming video via any connected device. This connection is easy to use and will enhance the impact of Kumu Ramsay’s transmissions. Can’t make it live? This course will feature LIVE teachings, interactive sessions, experiential practices, and Q&A with Kumu Ramsay. Each session will build harmoniously upon the previous ones, so you’ll develop a complete holistic understanding of the practices, tools, and principles you’ll need to release what weighs on your heart, bring greater understanding to your relationships, and cultivate Aloha in everyday life.

In this first module, you'll begin exploring the life this course invites you to cultivate: a life of Aloha, balance, and right relationship.
Kumu Ramsay will introduce pono as a condition of alignment and Hoʻoponopono as a practice of making things right.
Through cultural context, reflection, and lived examples, you'll discover how these teachings belong together, and begin to recognize what living in right relationship might look like in your everyday life.
In this opening session, you'll:

What you see is shaped by what you carry.
Kumu Ramsay will help you explore how memories, assumptions, inherited patterns, and experiences influence the way you interpret people and events.
Through perspective exercises and personal inquiry, you'll learn to distinguish between what actually happened and the meaning you gave it, begin noticing familiar reactions with curiosity, and discover how to respond more consciously to what life brings.
In this session, you'll:

Here you'll enter a worldview in which identity unfolds through relationship.
With Kumu Ramsay's guidance, explore your connections with family, ancestors, community, ʻāina (the land that sustains us), the natural world, and the unseen.
Through the understanding that "context shapes content" and the invitation "I belong, therefore I AM," you'll discover how belonging informs responsibility, how your choices affect the relationships that sustain you, and how reciprocity can become a daily expression of Aloha.
In this session, you'll:

Kumu Ramsay will introduce you to the Three Selves: ʻAumakua (the higher self), ʻUhane (the conscious mind), and ʻUnihipili (the subconscious mind), as they're taught within his received practice.
You'll explore their functions, their relationships, and the “I” as a doorway into deeper identity.
You'll discover why care for your inner family matters and how bringing these three minds together in harmony can help you cultivate a deeper sense of wholeness. Like a raindrop returning to the ocean, you'll explore what it means to be an individual while remaining part of something greater.
In this session, you'll:

In this module, you'll explore kuleana (responsibility) as the capacity to respond with care — honoring both your inner wisdom and your accountability to others.
Kumu Ramsay will invite you to examine forgiveness, emotional memory, attachment, and release, while approaching yourself and others with greater compassion.
You'll discover why the work begins with what you carry, how making things right involves both inner practice and outward action, and how releasing unresolved patterns can create room for a different quality of relationship.
In this session, you'll:

Kumu Ramsay will introduce HĀ (life-giving breath), mana (spiritual energy), and care for ʻUnihipili (the subconscious mind) as essential elements of preparation for Hoʻoponopono.
You'll explore how breath and intention work together to support the relationship of the Three Selves, creating space for prayer and reflection.
You'll also be introduced to the Pillar of the Peace of “I,” exploring its role in preparing your inner family for prayer, reflection, and the practice of Hoʻoponopono.
In this session, you'll:

In this final module, Kumu Ramsay will bring the teachings together through a guided experience of Hoʻoponopono…
… exploring preparation, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, cleansing, release, transmutation, and closure.
You'll learn to recognize when alignment is disturbed and how to return to pono with care. You'll also discover how working with what you've carried from the past can help you live more consciously in the present, making Aloha and right relationship an ongoing way of life.
In this closing session, you'll:

Kumu Ramsay Taum stands as a bridge between worlds — an Indigenous wisdom keeper rooted in ancestral knowing, yet fully engaged within the infrastructures of modernity.
His work does not seek to escape the systems of extraction and imbalance, but to meet them, reweave them, and offer a path forward grounded in Aloha, accountability, and alignment.
In spaces where metrics have too long replaced meaning, he calls for a deeper reckoning: not merely accounting, but radical accountability; not just reference, but reverence; not only return on investment, but a return on intellect, intention, and integrity.
His voice is both ancient and emergent, advocating for economic and ecological systems that reflect the sacred interdependence of all life. Through a lens of peace, sustainability, and relational wisdom, Kumu Ramsay helps communities remember who they are, where they stand, and how to move in harmony with both land and law, spirit and structure.
