Humanity has come to a dangerous moment in its evolutionary history, and the stakes could not be greater. Fortunately, there is a map forward through the darkness, and this is what Andrew will present in three stages.
First, drawing on his own mystical experience and the great evolutionary mystics of humanity, he’ll share how the immense global challenges we face are an ordained global Dark Night in which humanity’s fantasies of power over nature and its addiction to destruction are being systematically destroyed.
This destruction, however, is an initiation that reveals the Dark Night as the birth canal for a new divine humanity that can co-create with the Divine a wholly new world.
Second, he will show that the birth is already happening in fragments — inspired by a vision that combines knowledge of the divinization process with commitment to sacred activism.

Andrew will begin by sharing his momentous experience of encountering the Christ 20 years ago, which ignited his quest of sacred activism.
Drawing on that experience, he’ll share how it was revealed to him that sacred activism is the force that births a new world.
He’ll also speak to the five great sacred passions — passion for the Divine, passion for the Self in the human, passion of compassion for all sentient beings, passion to claim one’s own unique mission, and passion to make one’s whole being and actions congruent to the birth ahead.

Module 3: Transmission #3 - 5 Practices for Cultivating Compassion, Courage & Commitment to Sustain Your Sacred Calling (May 7)
This transmission will focus on the five kinds of sacred practice that will help sacred activists work with compassion, energy, courage, and unflagging commitment — no matter what happens and what difficulties and struggles they must endure.
Taken together, these practices work on the whole human being to bring it into unity with Source.

Module 4: Transmission #4 - Transmute the Five Shadows of the Dark Night to Shift Into Divine Consciousness & Fuel Your Sacred Activism (May 14)
The extremity and intensity of our crisis demands what Andrew calls evolutionary transpersonal shadow work. We cannot deal with our shadows from the same consciousness that is contaminated by them.
The only way that sacred activists will be strong enough to transmute the shadows of despair, paralysis, and exhausting anger will be from the spaciousness of divine consciousness.
Andrew will concentrate on the five powerful shadows cast by the Dark Night crisis itself because everyone, whether they know it or not, is assailed by these in a unique and dangerous way.
These five shadows are disbelief, dread, despair, disillusion, and death wish. He’ll show you how using the Tibetan practice of Tonglen can help you access your divine inner self to heal whichever of these dangerous shadows are rising, so you can return to your mission refreshed with sacred energy.

Module 5: Transmission #5 - Embody the Three Laws of Sacred Activism to Potentize Your Impact in the World (May 21)
From his long immersion in the world’s mystical traditions and his experience from starting the global sacred activism movement, Andrew has identified three essential laws that govern authentic sacred activism and make it as powerful and effective as possible. In this transmission, he will dive profoundly into each of them.
The first law is the law of giving up the fruits of action. Andrew will show you how dedicating yourself to sacred activism while surrendering your attachment to outcomes releases you from an addiction to immediate results which can distract and dishearten you.
The second law is the law of protection. Many forces are threatened by the birth of a new humanity. Some of them are impersonal, dark, and frighteningly subtle. The old mystical systems understood this and stressed the need to align with divine protection in dangerous enterprises. Drawing on the experience of his own Dark Night, Andrew will share three simple practices designed to protect you.
The third law is the law of networks of grace. The revolution of the birth cannot be done alone. We need to create and be part of networks of grace that sustain and encourage us. Andrew will explain in detail how this can be done and how it will form cells of the future body of a new humanity.

The birthing force of a new humanity and world has two streams: the first, as the great evolutionary mystics know, is one of the divinization and transfiguration of the human into the divine human.
This secret force has been known in all the great mystical traditions. Andrew has spent 20 years researching and experiencing it.

Andrew Harvey is an author, speaker, and founder/director of the Institute of Sacred Activism, an international organization focused on inviting concerned people to take up the challenge of our contemporary global crises by becoming inspired, effective, and practical agents of institutional and systemic change in order to create peace and sustainability.
Andrew has taught at Oxford University, Cornell University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, the California Institute of Integral Studies, and the University of Creation Spirituality as well as at various spiritual centers throughout the U.S. He was the subject of the 1993 BBC documentary The Making of a Modern Mystic, and appears also in Rumi: Turning Ecstatic and The Consciousness of the Christ: Reclaiming Christ for a New Humanity.
He is co-author of the bestselling The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, and has worked with the great Iranian Sufi dancer Banafsheh Sayyad in producing a film, In the Fire of Grace, which marries Sufi-inspired dances to the stages of Rumi’s understanding of the path of divine love. He has written or edited more than 30 books and received many awards, including the Benjamin Franklin Award and the Mind Body Spirit Award.
