2016 World Parliament on Spirituality

The goal of the 2016 World Parliament on Spirituality is to converge the collective wisdom of diverse spiritual thought across the planet and unite to create a Global Peace Initiative and Master Action Plan for Peace for the purpose of increasing the level of love, prosperity, and peace in the world.

In this twenty-first century of spiritual and scientific revolution, our understanding of nature, ourselves and the universe is expanding in all directions. The social, cultural and spiritual implications of this upheaval are incalculable. At the same time, high technology-based media are also in a period of dramatic development, enabling us to widely share this newly dawning consciousness with a previously undreamed of degree of verisimilitude.

Our planetary civilization is in the later stages of becoming a wholly intercommunicating organism. Advances in visual resolution, interactivity and virtual reality make it possible to place the joystick of exploration in every hand. We can now open the galaxies, the atom, and the cell for personal reconnaissance and spiritual truths told through many religious belief systems.

The lines between commerce, education, entertainment and every other aspect of human activity blur to the point of vanishing. Learning is now viewed as a lifelong pursuit. And yet, our most dazzling entertainment capabilities are reserved for material that is largely substance-free. Meanwhile, the real-time unfolding of the grandeur of the universe is often treated as an aside; blandly reported, if at all.

We are a team of spiritual thinkers, writers, trainers, researchers, religious gurus, swamis, engineers, entrepreneurs, architects, doctors, educators and artists who, with a growing list of collaborators across society, seek to address the disconnect between belief systems in an effort to reach the ultimate goal of every human being who has inhabited this world from eons of time. That goal is increased love, prosperity, and peace in the world.

This platform – the World Parliament on Spirituality - is created to bring forth those isolated, disconnected knowledge sources on a single platform and discuss and deliberate on a Global Initiative to increase the level of love, prosperity, and peace in the world. We are committed to not only discuss this Initiative, but to create a Master Action Plan for Peace that will insure action; taking steps toward achievement of our magnificent global goal.

There is a planet-wide awakening and a hunger for increased love, prosperity, and peace. This hunger goes beyond cultural barriers and demarcations. It transcends national boundaries and limited thinking. We must engage in an enquiry of how to achieve our goal from where we are now.

We know where we are now. We know what we want. We are coming together to discuss and develop solutions. We are gathering to create a Global Peace Initiative, unlike anything ever created in the history of the world because our Initiative comes with a Master Action Plan for Peace.

We know that love and peace begin in three places: our hearts, our homes, our caring connections with humanity.

So, what are the best ways to create loving, peaceful hearts – homes – humanity?

Dr. Yugandhar GR - President, The World United. I do not remember clearly when I really started thinking about life and nature of consciousness, but as far i remember, when i was introduced to some prayer books related to Lord Hanuman and Shiva and Sun God by my mother when was 8 year old in the year 1978, that was when the story began.
