Global Warming Requires All of Us to Take Action Sign the petition!

Almost everyone paying attention to the pressing increases in global warming and its impacts —including President Obama, top climate scientists and other nations—have stated that we must do much more and far faster if we are to avert the worst projected scenarios.

We at The Shift Network take global warming and its consequences on climate destabilization/change seriously. Personally I’ve gotten solar and placed an order on an electric car and eat low on the food chain to minimize my footprint. While the situation is dire, the bright side of the issue is that we CAN do something about it.

We invite you to join with us in supporting the creation of a Global Warming State of Emergency that asks our leaders and policymakers to act now. So, this Earth Day we are joining with Job One for Humanity and many other organizations to petition for a Declaration of a Global Warming State of Emergency. We are asking you as one of our Shift Network members, to join us in signing onto that Petition….

Record CO2 was added to our atmosphere last year and record-smashing temperatures in January and February shocked scientists worldwide.

We truly are in a global warming state of emergency!
