Module 1: Optimize Your Organ Systems’ Power to Maintain Strength & Resiliency in Your Joints & Bones (January 22)

 

Deborah will share the Chinese view of joint health, highlighting the many ways it differs from the Western perspective.

She’ll introduce the different organ systems that are responsible for maintaining strength and resiliency in the joints and bones — and explain how to best optimize these for your healing.

Learn how the environment affects your overall health and can be a key factor in healing arthritis and joint pain.

With this new understanding, you’ll be able to optimize your health and align with your environment.

In this module, you’ll:

  • Explore how the spleen is not only important for digestion, but also provides blood to nourish joints and bones and keep your muscles supple
  • Understand the importance of the liver in providing flexibility to the skeletal system and nourishing tendons and ligaments           
  • Learn how the kidneys are foundational to longevity and health — responsible for bone health, the skeletal system, bone marrow, and the brain

Module 2: Feel Calm, Aligned & Focused as You Ground Into the Earth With Qigong for the Feet, Ankles & Knees (January 29)

 

There are specific healing Qigong movements for the main joints in the body. We’ll begin with the feet, ankles, and knees.

The feet are the portal to the earth’s energies, helping you feel centered and rooted in your body. When you begin to experience this energetic flow, you can feel more calm, aligned, and focused.

This awareness allows you to create boundaries and receive healing from the earthly Qi and Yin.

The ankles and knees keep you moving forward with vitality, courage, and purpose.

Learn specific Qigong practices to help heal the important joints of mobility — and explore any emotions that may arise as you move forward in your life.

In this module, you’ll:

  • Learn the benefits of Qigong for the feet, ankles, and knees — including the protocol that Deborah used to heal her own injured ankle to avoid surgery and a new joint
  • Awaken the Qi portal to the earth on the soles of your feet

Module 3: Connect to Your Feminine Power Center for Greater Strength & Balance With Qigong for the Hips, Pelvis & Sacroiliac Joint (February 5)

 

The pelvis is the epicenter of a woman’s power. Many emotions around beauty, sexuality, trauma, and expression are held in this area.

Deborah will guide you to explore the psychological terrain of the pelvic bowl, including the emotions you’re holding there.

She’ll also share how to awaken the Qi flow and reignite the connection to your sensuality, creativity, and feminine expression.

Many women get hip replacements as they age — so you’ll learn specific Qigong to bring strength and flexibility to this area.

You’ll also learn to stabilize the sacroiliac joint (that links the pelvis and lower spine), which is often the issue in cases of hip pain and pelvic misalignment.

In this module, you’ll:

  • Explore Qigong to strengthen the hips and increase circulation in the joint
  • Discover floor movements to stabilize and align the SI joint
  • Learn movements and treatments for sciatica
  • Review Deborah’s Uterine Palace Qigong

Module 4: Ease Back Pain Between the Shoulder Blades With the Undulating Rhythms of Qigong (February 12)

 

Deborah will share how Snake Qigong — which mimics the movements of the snake — effectively addresses discomfort in the back, as its undulating movements help to relieve skeletal stress and pain.

Focus on Qigong protocols to support both the lower and upper back.

Learn effective home remedies popular in Asian households and acupuncture clinics.

Guasha is a common technique using a Chinese soup spoon with tiger balm to reduce inflammation in the upper back as well as eliminate cold and flu symptoms.

Cupping is also helpful for the back and other muscular areas to release tension and reduce inflammation.

In this module, you’ll:

  • Practice specific back exercises to strengthen the spine and alleviate pain
  • Explore Qigong practices for the upper back to reduce tension between the shoulder blades that many larger-breasted women are especially susceptible to
  • Learn techniques from Deborah’s demonstration of gua sha and cupping that the whole family can do at home to reduce pain and inflammation
  • Discuss the various emotions that can cause back pain and how anger often settles in between the shoulder blades

It’s important to keep these joints fluid and supple.

Deborah will demonstrate Qigong practices you can share with your whole family to ease neck and back pain — and use as strategic short breaks as you work on your computer.

Deborah will also introduce simple ear acupuncture to stimulate healing in your shoulders and neck.

In this module, you’ll:

About Deborah Davis, LAc

Deborah Davis, LAc, has been an alternative healthcare practitioner for more than 30 years. She’s an acupuncturist and medical intuitive specializing in women’s medical Qigong and sexuality.

Her book, Women’s Qigong for Health & Longevity, offers Qigong routines for women as they age, along with Qigong protocols for heart health, insomnia, menopause, osteoporosis, PMS, sexual vitality, depression, breast health, and more.

Her DVD series on women’s health accompanies the programs in her books Dynamic Woman Qigong, Qigong for Menopause, and Wise Woman Qigong. Deborah specializes in teaching women how to prevent and heal disease and maintain health as they age.

In the early ’90s, Deborah ran a Qigong clinic with her teacher, Dr. Ren Xu Wang. She witnessed infertile women become pregnant, cysts disappear, chronic fatigue alleviate, and even terminally ill cancer patients go into remission.
