Selected Teacher Mentors (TMs) with the highest number of returning students from their Essentials Training (Level 1) Mentorship Circles will return for Advanced Mentorship Circles in Skill Building (Level 2). These intentionally small groups provide personalized feedback, foster meaningful peer connections, and support the deepening of your mediumship practice.
This advanced training is for those who have made the commitment to strive for excellence in their craft and are ready to explore the next chapter of their lives and work as an evidential medium in the iconic lineage of Mavis Pittilla.
Jean Else and her team of Mavis Pittilla-Authorized Teacher Mentors are back to support and guide you as you continue on your path. They’ll share their own deep levels of expertise to help you build upon and refine your mediumship skills.
This year-long program will once again be structured like academic quarters. There will be three learning cycles (Parts I, II, and III) consisting of unit-specific classes and Mentorship Circles, with each cycle spanning three months. After the conclusion of Parts I and II, each student will participate for one month in a concentrated, guided practicum on the learning cycle just completed. During the Level 2 practicums, you will conduct private sittings and demonstrations with members of the public.
After the conclusion of the Part III learning cycle, each student will spend the final month of the program in a focused practicum, reflecting on and synthesizing all they’ve learned.
Your journey will continue to unfold through frequent, supportive experiences and interactions with your peers and Teacher Mentors to deepen and strengthen your practices. This journey will include:

Jean will teach four class sessions per month, with classes meeting on Thursday every week of each of the three learning cycles (Parts I, II, and III) to cover the corresponding units. Studying the science and theory of evidential mediumship provides a solid foundation and understanding of how to connect with the spirit world and practice mediumship ethically, while illuminating the profound impact it can have on our lives. The difference with the organization in Level 2 will be that each 120-minute class session includes a 90-minute teaching session with 30-40 minutes of time for both Jean’s teachings and Mavis’ theory, and then an additional practice time of 30-40 minutes with your Teacher Mentor in a breakout session. Plus, after the 90-minute class there will now be 30 minutes of optional breakout sessions if you wish to practice with a partner.
Every week that Jean’s class sessions are held will also feature a Mentorship Circle. Led by a cohort of Mavis Pittilla-Authorized Teacher Mentors, Circles will include dedicated time for Q&A and be offered for a variety of days and times to accommodate varying time zones, levels of experience, and availability. Once a specific Circle has been chosen, each student will remain with their same small group and mentor for the entirety of the Skill Building program. Attendance of all Mentorship Circles (4 per month, 36 total) is required to earn the program’s Certificate of Completion.
Digital video recordings will be available for you to stream in high-quality format of each live class session. You’ll never have to worry about missing a session, and you can watch anytime and anywhere at your convenience.
Each Mentorship Circle session will be recorded and distributed to individual Circle members only — providing a safe container and maintaining confidentiality. You’ll be able to review your progress based on feedback from your mentors and watch your growth and development over time. Witnessing your own practice and presentation is an invaluable part of your mediumship journey.
Audio recordings will be available for you to stream in high-quality MP3 format of each live class session. You’ll never have to worry about missing a session, and you can listen anytime and anywhere at your convenience.
In addition to the high-quality videos and MP3 audios, you’ll also receive the entire session transcription of each live class session. You can then review, print, and highlight the insights and practices you found most impactful.
Our exclusive online community is the perfect place to continue your discovery process. Here, you can continue the discussion about your program materials and interact with your fellow participants to take your exploration to an even deeper level.
You’ll also have the option of adding a one-on-one personal assessment with your Teacher Mentor to evaluate your progress and support your growth.
