This advanced training is for those who have made the commitment to strive for excellence in their craft and are ready to explore the next chapter of their lives and work as an evidential medium in the iconic lineage of Mavis Pittilla.
Jean Else and her team of Mavis Pittilla-Authorized Teachers are back to support and guide you as you continue on your path. They’ll share their own deep levels of expertise to build upon and refine your mediumship skills.
This year-long program will once again be structured like academic quarters. There will be three learning cycles (Parts I, II, and III) consisting of unit-specific classes and mentorship circles, with each cycle spanning three months. After the conclusion of Parts I and II, each student will participate for one month in a concentrated, guided practicum on the learning cycle just completed. The practicums in this program will have you working with members of the public, undertaking private sittings and demonstrations.
After the conclusion of Part III, each student will spend the last month in a focused practicum, reflecting on and synthesizing all they’ve learned.
Your journey will continue to unfold through frequent, supportive experiences and interactions with your peers and Teacher Mentors to deepen and strengthen your practices. This journey will include:

Jean teaches four class sessions per month, with classes meeting every week of each of the three learning cycles (Parts I, II, and III) to cover the corresponding units. Studying the science and theory of evidential mediumship provides a solid foundation and understanding of how to connect with the spirit world and practice mediumship ethically — while illuminating the profound impact it can have on our lives. Each 90-minute class session includes time for live Q&A with Jean.
Four 90-Minute Mentorship Circles Per Month With Assigned Mavis Pittilla-Authorized Teachers (36 Total)
Mentorship Circles, which meet each week that you have class sessions, include Q&A with Mavis Pittilla-Authorized Teachers. Circles will be scheduled for a wide range of days and times to accommodate varying time zones, levels of experience, and availability.
Video Recordings of Class Sessions
Digital video recordings will be available for you to stream in high-quality format of each live class session. You’ll never have to worry about missing a session, and you can watch anytime and anywhere at your convenience.
Video Recordings of Mentorship Circle Sessions
Each Mentorship Circle session will be recorded and distributed to individual circle members only — providing a safe container and maintaining confidentiality. You'll be able to review your progress based on feedback from your mentors and watch your growth and development over time. Witnessing your own practice and presentation is an invaluable part of your mediumship journey.
Audio Recordings of Class Sessions
Audio recordings will be available for you to stream in high-quality MP3 format of each live class session. You’ll never have to worry about missing a session, and you can listen anytime and anywhere at your convenience.
Transcripts of Class Sessions
In addition to the high-quality videos and MP3 audios, you’ll also receive the entire session transcription of each live class session. You can then review, print, and highlight the insights and practices you found most impactful.

A: Enrollment for the Skill Building training opened on September 17, 2024. You can enroll early to take advantage of the Early Registration incentive. If you sign up early and don’t end up completing your Essentials Training (Level I) assignments by December 15, 2024 (making you ineligible for Skill Building), your payments will be 100% refunded.

Circles will be scheduled in a wide-range of days and times to accommodate varying time zones, levels of experience, and availability.
