The eight movements, or brocades, of Ba Duan Jin Qigong can be a powerful ally in helping us understand and heal the true causes of any health challenges we’re facing.
This is why Qigong Master Faye Li Yip calls them the eight treasures, as the full extent of their healing wisdom and power is revealed only through deeper and deeper excavations of the self — just like buried treasure.
In her 12-module advanced course on Ba Duan Jin Qigong, you'll discover jewels still to be found by elevating your Qigong practice and experiencing the essence of the brocades with advanced meditation and visualization techniques — allowing you to embody their wisdom and healing power.
During this profound inner exploration, you’ll experience former course participants that received help from Master Faye on a particular movement during the integration sessions in modules 4, 8, and 11. In these sessions, Master Faye chose at least six videos to workshop, in which she looks for patterns, providing valuable feedback that will help everyone succeed and feel the Qi.
Refining, adapting, and building on the mindful movements and special techniques of Ba Duan Jin, you’ll illuminate the deeper message of what ails you...
... experiencing a profound internalization of movements driven by energy and not muscle, as you begin to consistently access vibrant new Qi — and new dimensions of the self — from a place of joy and presence.
Most importantly, you’ll expand your ability to tangibly feel when you’re being healed by your Qi — and ease the conditions associated with blocked Qi such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, age-related stiffness, energy depletion, high blood pressure, tension, fatigue, insomnia, and more.
As you deepen your ability to generate Qi by presence, rather than trying to methodically activate Qi through a mechanical process...
... discover the power that comes with moving your energy with intention vs. using physical movement to increase the circulation of your energy.
Experience noticeable improvements in mental and emotional balance, increased stamina, muscle tone, physical stability, and a deeper capacity to connect with your true self.
By embarking on Master Faye’s course, you’ll sculpt your Ba Duan Jin practice into a coherent and flowing cascade of healing that you can use to align and cleanse your mind, body, heart, and spirit — and also guide your life with clarity, joy, and presence.
In this 12-module transformational course, Master Faye guide's you through the fundamental skills and competencies you’ll need to successfully cultivate the deeper wisdom and healing potential of the eight movements of Ba Duan Jin Qigong.
This course features step-by-step teachings and experiential practices from Master Faye. Each session builds harmoniously upon the previous ones, so you’ll develop a complete holistic understanding of the practices, tools, and principles you’ll need to create a cascade of healing and awareness within you — and as you move through your daily life — through the deeper nuances of Ba Duan Jin Qigong. Your purchase includes 24/7 ongoing access to your course content, allowing you time to review the materials at your own pace and integration.

In this session, you’ll:

The most transformative energy is your spleen and stomach energy, which works hard to transform nutrients from food into functional energy for your internal organs.
As Master Faye guides you through the middle dantian rotation and a deeper experience of “Pushing Arms Aloft” movements, you’ll create a massaging effect on the internal organs.
Go deeper into visualizations that will help you move beyond any perceived form of restriction.
In this session, you’ll:

Using your video submissions, Master Faye will lead a review and deepening of the knowledge you gained during the first three classes.
You’ll have ample opportunity to ask Master Faye your questions directly during an extended Q&A.
She’ll focus on your questions and use participant video submissions to give detailed feedback on how to take your practice deeper.
During this first integration session, you’ll:

Experience how emotional energy is closely linked with the wellbeing of internal organs, using smooth, mind-calming movements coupled with controlled breathing.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), each of five organs — heart, liver, spleen, lung, and kidney — is associated with a specific emotion.
The heart is associated with joy and happiness.
The liver is associated with anger and frustration.
The spleen is associated with worry and overthinking.
The lung is associated with grief and sadness.
The kidney is associated with fear and insecurity.
This smooth movement helps put the internal organs at ease, while also helping to unblock emotional energy pathways and promote the smooth traveling of Qi.
Go deeper into visualizations that help you move beyond any perceived form of restriction.
In this session, you’ll:

The heart is the most yang (fire element) organ in your body.
It governs blood circulation, blood vessels, and the mind, houses the Shen/spirit, and is in charge of our happiness and joy.
“Swaying the Head & Wagging the Tail” uses circular movements around the sacrum and spine to balance the fire yang energy of the heart with the water yin energy of the kidneys.
Go deeper into visualizations that increase the flow of Qi and a felt sense of emotional stability by pushing beyond any perceived limitation.
In this session, you’ll:

Kidney energy is the powerhouse of your body, regarded as your most important reservoir of essential energy.
The original prenatal energy — yuan Qi, which forms the basis of life — is stored in the kidney organ energy system.
This is why the kidneys are also known as “the root of life.”
The “Both Hands Touching the Feet” movement can help you tonify your kidney energy and amplify your kidneys’ innate function of revitalizing your energy, resulting in a deeper sense of vibrancy, balance, and resilience.
In this session, you’ll:

Using your video submissions, Master Faye will lead a review and deepening of the knowledge you gained during classes 5, 6, and 7.
You’ll have ample opportunity to ask Master Faye your questions directly during an extended Q&A.
She’ll focus on your questions and use participant video submissions to give detailed feedback on how to take your practice deeper.
During this second integration session, you’ll:

The “Clenching Fists and Glaring Eyes” movement is a great way to increase vitality and energy levels in the body — quickly and effectively.
It also helps improve circulation, decrease stress hormones, regulate mental and emotional states, and improve coordination and balance.
Master Faye will share how practicing this movement regularly can help you build up your Qi.
This not only increases vitality, but also helps improve the immune system, reduce pain and inflammation, and optimize the natural healing power of the body to cope with the ever-increasing amount of stress and pollution you encounter daily.
In this session, you’ll:

The “Raising and Lowering Heels” movement in Ba Duan Jin helps to stimulate blood flow and improve energy circulation throughout the body, working to prevent poor circulation, varicose veins, and blood clots.
Continuously lifting and lowering the heels helps strengthen the muscles in the legs, including the calves, quadriceps, and hamstrings. Strong leg muscles are essential for balance and stability, as well as for preventing falls and injuries.
Practicing the “Raising and Lowering Heels” movement in Ba Duan Jin can help improve balance and coordination, essential for maintaining mobility and preventing falls, especially as we age.
This movement requires the ankles to flex and extend, helping improve flexibility in the ankles and feet, overall mobility, and conditions such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis.
These rhythmic movements, combined with deep breathing, can help to calm the mind and release tension, which in turn can boost the immune system and help prevent sickness and ailments.
In this session, you’ll:
