Silence negative self-talk, boost your confidence, and empower your purpose by working with your Inner Critic (instead of against it) through embodied practices — to cultivate self-love that’s rooted in your own compassionate wholeness.
Do you find that you’re often overly critical of yourself? Does this ever stop you from making the moves you need to make to live more authentically — in alignment with your true needs, inner voice, and calling?
Does your Inner Critic make you feel like you’re not good enough — or that you need to do more or know more — regardless of how much work you’ve put into evolving yourself or your goals?
Imagine if this relentless inner voice could instead be used to help you clarify your purpose, celebrate your gifts, and refine the steps you need to take to bring your deeper vision to life...
Tim Kelley, founder of True Purpose Institute, and embodiment guide Heather Munro Pierce, founder of Temple Arts Institute, teach that the sabotaging voice of the Inner Critic can actually be a great teacher of self-love.
You know the Inner Critic as the part of you that tries to drag you down and remind you that you’re not good enough. It’s the source of the relentless negative self-talk that holds you back and asks you to shame yourself — or project negative judgements onto others.
Yet, your Inner Critic is actually trying to help you, say Tim and Heather. The Inner Critic was a defense mechanism you constructed early on to help you feel safe. Yet, just like so many of us, it doesn’t know its purpose and has lost its way...
Your Inner Critic’s true purpose is to guide you on your path to truly knowing yourself, your gifts, and your greater purpose for our world — your wholeness.
In this insightful hour with Tim and Heather, you’ll begin to unmask your Inner Critic’s true purpose and gain powerful insights and practices that transform negativity, judgment, and self-doubt into meaningful feedback, self-love, and empowerment.
Through inner inquiry, dance, movement, and meditation, Tim and Heather will share how cultivating a healthy new relationship with your Inner Critic is a potent tool for self-exploration and evolution.
These embodied practices help you not just think about the changes you want to make, but actually feel and process them in your body — allowing you to channel the energy of self-criticism into constructive insights, and move with greater self-compassion and confidence in more visceral and lasting ways.
And, by understanding, accepting, and integrating the true intent of your Inner Critic brings awareness and momentum to your quest for wholeness...
... ending the cycle of perpetual seeking and feeling incomplete as you experience spiritual progress through the courage of compassionately engaging with inner conflict.
If you’re tired of feeling like there’s still more you need to know, do, or become in order to feel whole, good enough, and able to take the next step on your path to living a purposeful and fulfilled life, this event is for you.
In this free online event, you’ll discover:
- Why it’s so hard to love yourself — and how loving yourself becomes possible once you understand the real obstacle
- A practice to identify your blocks to self-love — and explore the connection between posture and self-criticism
- The competing voices in your head — and potent tools to help you learn to separate from the sources of negativity in your psyche
- Learn why getting rid of your Inner Critic isn’t a good thing (and why it’s not possible, anyway) — and how a healthy, productive relationship with your Inner Critic can positively transform your life
- Recognize the voice of your Inner Critic and where it comes from — and why learning to live with your Inner Critic is easier if you know why it does what it does
- How the Inner Critic uses your brain’s natural negativity bias to become even more powerful — and how to counteract negativity bias
Following this workshop, you may notice how negative self-talk and perfectionism begin to lose their hold on you — and how self-compassion, love, and understanding begin to take root as you unpack the deeper role of your Inner Critic and its process for nudging you into a more aligned and aware state of being.
In joining this event, you’ll also be among the first to learn about Tim and Heather’s new live video course on how to integrate the deeper teachings of the inner critic through journaling, dance, movement, and meditation to heal yourself, align with your true purpose, and experience profound self-love.

What People Are Saying About Heather Munro Pierce...
Dancing in this sacred space, opening my pelvis, my arms, my chest, I feel deeply centered and alive within my goddess-given fierce female body.
I enjoyed being able to set an intention of self-care and be in a space where all I needed to do was “just be.” So much of my life lately is about accomplishing something or getting something done. It was comforting to just flow.
When I dance in the temple, I notice I am more embodied in my everyday — at work, at home, on the hiking trail — and more likely to shake it off and out, to stretch, to walk tall, to make eye contact. It nourishes my inner life and offers a place to connect.
I’ve found this to be an incredibly powerful practice. One that is truly grounded in the female incarnation, both in this life/time and in the essence.
I go into this inner cocoon of rhythm and I dance whatever needs to be expressed without caring about how I must look. This is how I want to show up in the world — courageously expressing what needs to be expressed without worrying about what people will think.
