When you feel weighed down with emotions or bodily pain, have you wondered if they might not just be yours but patterns you’ve inherited?

Explore how ancestral imprints are held in your body and create hidden narratives that shape your reactions to life and sense of self and learn how to release those inherited energies through somatic practices that restore ease, clarity, and a felt sense of belonging.

The tension, anxiety, fear, and emotional burdens you carry may very well be “emotional echoes” reverberating from generations gone by...

Your body not only holds your personal experiences, but also the imprints of inherited trauma, which can manifest as chronic stress, emotional distress, nervous system overload, and even physical illness leaving you feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from yourself and those around you.

Many families experience trauma  and while the past may live within you, it does not have to define you.

Somatic trauma psychotherapist Manuela Mischke-Reeds began her career more than 25 years ago working with people who had endured and survived torture, and realized that her clients were often at a loss to verbally convey their trauma. Yet, it was showing up in their bodies in debilitating forms of flashbacks, night terrors, anxiety, depression, unexplained somatic complaints, and more...

As Manuela focused on learning the body’s expressions and somatic patterns, she came to understand that trauma even the residue of trauma that was experienced in your family lineage isn’t an incident that you get over, it’s something you can learn to integrate using your body’s innate ability to heal through the silent language of somatic embodiment.

Is there an unprocessed story, a message that your body wants YOU to hear?

With Manuela’s somatic trauma therapy approach which integrates various practices rooted in polyvagal theory, and includes key techniques from Hakomi therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Innate Somatic Intelligence Trauma Therapy...

... you may be able to unearth those unconscious imprints and learn how to work with them so they no longer negatively impact your emotional, psychological, and physical wellbeing.

Join Manuela in this powerful online event, where you’ll explore how trauma, especially intergenerational trauma, manifests in your breath, posture, and the nervous system patterns you unconsciously carry.

Manuela will guide you in how to bring somatic awareness to those inherited patterns through movement, breath, contemplation, and ritual and begin rewiring your neural pathways into resilience. These exercises are designed to help you dramatically shift your internal experience by regulating your nervous system, building physical and emotional resilience, and deepening your connection with your body.

You’ll explore how engaging in post-traumatic growth also involves connecting to your ancestral roots, revealing the strength and courage of those who came before you, and understanding their legacy as a gift that connects your deeper purpose. And, as you do, you can begin consciously choosing what you want to carry forward, and experience how your personal healing work can evoke the change agent within you for yourself and future generations.

Offering you a direct experience of ancestral trauma integration, Manuela will guide you through her “Body Mapping and Ancestral Listening” practice a profound journey of listening to the voices of your ancestors to identify the stories your body carries. You’ll tune in to the hidden patterns shaping your internal somatic and emotional landscape, and begin releasing what longs to be freed.

Manuela will invite you to gently uncover and release the energetic residue of intergenerational wounding and reshape your story, honoring your lineage while reclaiming your personal power.

By reconnecting with the wisdom in your lineage, not just its burden, you’ll step into a more grounded, empowered relationship with your past a profound shift toward calm, clarity, agency, and belonging.

In this potent hour-long event, you’ll:

  • Learn somatic tools for calming overwhelm, reducing stress responses, and cultivating a grounded, regulated state even in challenging moments
  • Discover practices that can help you release inherited trauma patterns discovering and gently unwinding the unconscious physical, emotional, and behavioral patterns that were passed down through your lineage
  • Experience a guided technique using conscious movement and gentle somatic prompts to identify your personal intergenerational patterns and begin working with the somatic imprints living in your body
  • Cultivate empowerment and self-agency as you use somatic awareness to track your physical sensations, move with intention, and make conscious choices about how you inhabit your body and respond to life
  • Understand how post-traumatic growth and ancestral strength can improve your daily life transforming inherited pain into personal power by tapping into the wisdom, resilience, and gifts of your lineage

Manuela will help you create a safe and nurturing space within yourself one where deep-seated tension, anxiety, and ancestral burdens can begin to soften, as you learn to witness and honor what your body holds while cultivating a newfound sense of groundedness and self-compassion.

Healing, Manuela says, is not about returning to who you were before trauma happened it’s becoming who you were always meant to be. When you learn to listen to your body as an ally and guide, you open the door to profound transformation.

Manuela presents a courageous and practical healing path to reclaiming your safety, dignity, and sovereignty not by bypassing the past, but by integrating how it lives within you.

As your body becomes the bridge between your past and future, and between surviving and thriving, you’ll walk away from this hour feeling lighter, more at ease, at home in your body, and ready to reclaim your life’s goals as your own.

When you attend, you’ll also be among the first to learn about Manuela’s upcoming 7-week live video course, where you’ll delve deeper into your traumas whether passed down through your lineage, personally experienced in your lifetime, or the result of world events that impact the collective. Using a powerful variety of meditation and unique somatic practices, Manuela will guide you through the process of post-traumatic growth through nervous system regulation.

“Manuela is a master of her craft...”

In my journey as a therapist, Manuela’s trauma training was essential to developing the skills to support healing in my clients. Manuela is a master of her craft, and with her guidance, I was able to learn to hold a space of safety that allows clients to learn to regulate their nervous system and, in a gentle way, move through and heal their trauma. I consider this one of the most transformative training experiences in my 30 years in the field.

“I wish I had this knowledge in the 50 years I taught counseled in the public school system.”

This course opened me to a whole new world of exploring my own soma, my family, clients and other people in my life. I loved how Manuela had us work on ourselves and learn good self-care so we are able to help others. I almost use everything I learned in this course on a daily basis. I wish I had this knowledge in the 50 years I taught counseled in the public school system. Especially the 35 years working with special needs students. I could have helped so many more children and also less stress on myself.

I have realized how important it is to be in a regulated state myself to serve others. I deepened my knowledge and understanding of the different somatic interventions. I loved every experience we went through the course and I will continue with experiments I have learned. I feel more equipped to serve my coaching clients as I experience changes and great insights coming from my body, which helps me be authentic to my clients.
