Learn how to achieve “heart coherence,” where the heart, brain, and nervous system are aligned and in sync, gifting you with inner peace, a renewed sense of energy, clearheadedness, and a stronger immune system.

What if you had a powerful set of tools and techniques to regulate your emotions and reactions — quickly, in any given moment of stress — that would help you walk through life with more ease and grace?

Cultures around the world have recognized that the heart is the epicenter of the body and responsible for our feelings, thoughts, and behavior. When asked where their soul resides, people typically point to their heart.

Interestingly enough, frontier science today is starting to support this perspective, finding that our energetic heart — not our brain — acts as the gateway to our higher self.

Your heart is more than just an organ that circulates blood throughout your body — many in modern science believe the heart is more powerful, healing, and transformative than we ever realized.

The heart, with approximately 40,000 neurons, sends more neural signals to the brain than the brain sends to the heart. Our hearts are so sensitive and dynamic that they respond to intuitive signals first — and the brain then follows suit.

Research by HeartMath Institute shows that the patterns of our heart rhythms are reflected in our emotional states. When we’re hit with a stressor, we fall out of sync, which impairs mental functions and can send us into “fight, flight, or freeze” mode.

Our sympathetic nervous system mobilizes energy, while our parasympathetic system works to return the body to its “rest and digest” mode. When these two systems are out of sync, we experience erratic and chaotic heart rhythms, which leads to internal discord that can take a tremendous toll on our body and mind.

Dr. Rollin McCraty’s work as a psychophysiologist and director of research at the HearthMath Institute, has done research showing that feeling positive emotions like love or gratitude can put our body back in harmony and stabilize the rhythms of the heart. In this ideal state of coherence, the heart’s electromagnetic energy transmits waves of healing, inner peace, and wellbeing that not only affects us, but others around us.

In this free heart-based workshop, Rollin will show you what it takes to achieve “heart coherence.” You’ll discover how to reach a state of balance in which the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems stop playing an unhealthy game of tug-of-war with one another, and allow you to shift into a heart-coherent state to quickly help you focus, feel calm, and improve your state of mind.

You’ll look at the science of coherence and how the elements of all things — from atoms to galaxies — communicate at a profound, fundamental level. This interconnectedness, which happens via biological fields and invisible magnetic fields, influences our health and behaviors, and even correlates with major world events like earthquakes and war.

Rollin will show you how you can apply “coherence” — when the heart, brain, and nervous system operate in sync with each other — to be more conscious and intuitive about how you respond to external situations instead of with your same old stress-induced responses and behavior patterns. You’ll learn different ways to better manage anxiety, improve cognitive performance, and connect with a deeper intuitive awareness.

He’ll also introduce you to a practice called the Quick Coherence Technique, which can help you get in sync and achieve and maintain composure and balance. This exercise will demonstrate how, with practice, you can intentionally develop greater heart coherence, anytime, anywhere, so you can manage stressful and uncomfortable situations for extended periods of time with less conscious effort.

In this heart-opening online event, you’ll discover:

  • What heart coherence is and the power of it
  • How one of the most effective ways to be heart coherent is through emotional self-regulation
  • The ways in which negative and positive emotions can impact your hormonal and nervous systems
  • How heart coherence can positively transform each of us — and simultaneously improve social and global harmony
  • A quick and simple practice you can use on the fly anytime you want to self-regulate and shift into a more heart-coherent state

Dr. Rollin McCraty has been with HeartMath Institute since its inception in 1991, where he continues his groundbreaking work in heart coherence, intuition, consciousness, and global interconnectivity.

When you join Rollin for this scientific look into heart coherence, you’ll also learn about his upcoming 7-week course where he’ll go deep into helping you understand your heart’s intelligence, the scientific research of the interconnectivity of all living systems through our planet’s magnetic field, and several techniques that can transform us on personal, social, and global levels.

What People Are Saying About Rollin McCraty PhD…

“Every time I have any contact with Rollin, I get true gems and pearls, and pass them on.”

I've been using HeartMath technologies, books, articles, and techniques since the ’90s and share them with every client, patient, workshop, etc. Every time I have any contact with Rollin, I get true gems and pearls, and pass them on. These are pearls of info, meaning, and application — always something new and important that adds much value to my life, practice, and teachings.
— Bob Whitehouse, EdD, Colorado

“I am so happy that I took this course and would take anything Rollin McCraty teaches.”

I have been a meditation teacher for 30 years: Buddhist practices, Hindu, and Christian Contemplative. Right now I am leading a group of 18 people once a week on Zoom and I am teaching the heart coherence practice, how to “reset,” and about “feeding the field” and the power of our shared magnetic field. They are loving it! Feeling personally “empowered.” I am so happy that I took this course and would take anything Rollin McCraty teaches.
— Rev. Cecily Stranahan, Southport, Connecticut

“With Rollin… the experience of going deeper into the heart and finding love there was significantly greater than when doing it on my own.”

With Rollin, Sarah, and the group, the experience of going deeper into the heart and finding love there was significantly greater than when doing it on my own. It has caused a life shift, a greater ability to love. There was so much love with the group by the end that I couldn’t sleep the night of the final session — the power of love was that strong, and lasted throughout the next day. It is easier now to feel this on my own.
— Catherine, Newfoundland

“Rollin McCraty's class was a superb summary of HeartMath's scientific aspects, and I look forward to more as more is discovered.”

I’ve practiced HeartMath for many years. It’s been helpful for managing stress and for personal development. I knew it worked, and I knew data was coming in about why it worked, but haven’t found the information on the HeartMath website. At last! Rollin McCraty’s class was a superb summary of HeartMath’s scientific aspects, and I look forward to more as more is discovered. Without the scientific info, it’s hard to talk to people about HeartMath without sounding naive, and that’s a pity because it’s so important! Being able to access the classes anytime has been crucial, because I live in Australia now and the massive time difference makes it unlikely I would take part in a live class.
— Jane, Canberra, Australia

“Rollin explained the science at just the right level for me…”

I thoroughly enjoyed this course and found it very beneficial. The practices are deceptively simple and easy to engage in; I believe the potential benefits are profound. Rollin explained the science at just the right level for me, and Sarah's contribution was significant; it was a privilege to witness their respectful way they worked with each other. I will go through the whole course again as soon as it finishes and put many of the techniques into practice. I would not have missed this course for anything.

About Rollin McCraty, PhD

Rollin McCraty, PhD, is director of research at the HeartMath Institute. As a psychophysiologist, Rollin's research interests include the physiology of emotion — with a focus on the mechanisms by which emotions influence cognitive processes, behavior, and health — and the global interconnectivity between people and the earth’s energetic systems. Findings from this research have been applied to the development of tools and technology to optimize individual and organizational health, performance, and quality of life.

Rollin has acted as principal investigator in numerous research studies examining the effects of emotions on heart-brain interactions, and on autonomic, cardiovascular, hormonal, and immune system function. He has also served as principal investigator in a number of field studies to determine the outcomes of positive emotion-focused interventions and heart-rhythm feedback in diverse organizational and educational settings, as well as in various clinical populations.
