Surviving a light aircraft crash 40 years ago forced Sue to confront her mortality and question what it means to truly live. Her search for answers sparked her interest in astrology and the great cycle of life and death.

Sue’s work is grounded in extensive academic, therapeutic, and esoteric study. She trained as a life, death, and transition facilitator with the Elisabeth Kübler-Ross Foundation, and holds dual MA’s in death studies and creative writing.

She was also an honorary researcher for one of the first end-of-life studies with neuropsychiatrist Dr. Peter Fenwick, which explored the mysteries of consciousness at the end of life.

Drawing from Hermetic philosophy, reincarnation teachings, Gnostic cosmology, modern psychology, and insights from soul midwife Felicity Warner on the dying process, Sue will share how planetary archetypes can help you awaken to the ancient and esoteric mysteries of life and death — and reveal your path to release, renewal, and soul evolution.

Everything changed for Sue Brayne 40 years ago. Surviving a light aircraft crash forced her to confront her mortality and catapulted her onto a profound healing journey, which sparked her interest in astrology and the great cycle of life and death.

Sue initially trained with the Elisabeth Kübler-Ross Foundation as a Life, Death, and Transition facilitator, and went on to gain an MA in the Rhetoric and Rituals of Death (King Alfreds, Winchester) and a second MA in Creative Writing (Oxford Brookes).

Sue became neuropsychiatrist Dr. Peter Fenwick’s honorary researcher for one of the first end-of-life experience (ELE) studies, which studied consciousness during the dying process. This inspired Sue to train as a psychotherapist, specializing in trauma, end-of-life issues, and bereavement and grief, and to work as a Death Cafe facilitator.

She went on to achieve a diploma with the Faculty of Astrological Studies; her astrology work focuses on helping people identify their soul’s evolutionary path. Sue is also a TEDx speaker, sharing her view on the importance of wearing your mortality with pride, and is host of the “Sue Brayne: Celebrating Astrology” YouTube channel.
